「2024年は、ほぼあらゆる指標において、紛争の影響を受けた子どもの数と、彼らの生活への影響の度合いという両方の観点から見て、紛争下にある子どもたちにとってユニセフの歴史上最悪の年の一つとなりました。紛争地域で育つ子どもたちは、平和な場所で暮らす子どもたちと比べて、学校に通えない、栄養不良状態になる、あるいは家を追われる可能性がはるかに高く、しかも、その状況が繰り返し起こることが多いのです。これは決してニューノーマル（新たな日常）であってはなりません。子どもたちが、世界の無秩序な戦争の巻き添え被害を受ける世代となることを許してはなりません」

“The year 2024 has been one of the worst in UNICEF’s history for children affected by conflict, both in terms of the number of children impacted and the severity of the effects on their lives across nearly every indicator. Children growing up in conflict zones are far more likely to be out of school, suffer from malnutrition, or be displaced from their homes compared to those living in peaceful areas — and these hardships are often repeated. This must never become the ‘new normal.’ We must not allow a generation of children to become collateral damage of the world’s chaotic wars.”

２０２３年は世界の子供たちが様々な重大危機に直面した１年でした。洪水、地震などの自然災害の被害を受けた子供、世界的な物価高騰の中、貧困下にある子ども、ウクライナやパレスチナの武力紛争により家族や日常を奪われた子供など、過去に例を見ない多くの子供たちが支援を必要としています。

私たち育川合同会社はユニセフの一員として、協会のご協力を基に、引続最も弱い立場にある子供たちにサポートをさせて頂き、努力をさせて頂きます。

In 2023, children around the world faced various significant crises. There were children affected by natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes, children living in poverty amidst global inflation, and children who had their families and daily lives torn apart by armed conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine. Many children, unlike anything seen before, are in need of support.

IKUGAWA LLC, as a member of UNICEF, we will continue our efforts, with the cooperation of the association, to provide support to the most vulnerable children and strive to do our best.

京都の着物柄デザイナーによるコラボレーション商品です。デザインコンセプトは「日本の伝統をこの一本に」。優しい風合いの国産和紙を使用し、グラデーション箔で日本の美しい着物柄、伝統的な和柄を表現したマスキングテープです。

“Kimono Beauty”

This is a collaboration product between kimono pattern designers in Kyoto. The design concept is “Japanese tradition in this one book.” This masking tape uses Japanese washi paper with a gentle texture and uses gradation foil to express beautiful Japanese kimono patterns and traditional Japanese patterns.
